This sounds exciting and smells really interesting. It has a heady, lemony aroma with, perhaps it is vanilla? The consistency would be great to pour over ice cream or even as a sweet marinade. On tasting there is a fresh acidity of the lemon, mingled with a level of sweetness and, we think, vanilla, and maybe a sweet spice too? The heat gently grows on the palate and lingers long. It is clever, exciting and would be very useful in the kitchen. The fact that it is brewed has obviously intensified the flavour too. This is the most exciting thing we have had this morning and have not come across a product quite like it. We think this is so good it is worthy of two stars. One judge even suggested adding a splash to marmalade and using it as a filling in a sponge! Alternatively, it would make a great mocktail with soda water!
